Young Aggregates is owned and operated by Don Young. Don grew up in the aggregate business, working for his father’s company when he was a child. He became a Crusher Foreman at the age of 19, and by age 21 he owned his own business. Don learned the business and industry from the ground up, focussing on employee safety and customer satisfaction as his top priorities. Now he’s proud to be running his very own family business: Young Aggregates.
Over the past 10 years, Don has grown the company from one small gravel pit in Pontypool to a large-scale aggregate supply business offering armour stone, limestone, sand and gravel products to customers all over southern Ontario. Young Aggregates also offers crushing and recycling services and boasts 3 crushing spreads, 3 gravel pit locations in Clarington, Pontypool and Ennismore, and a limestone quarry in Bobcaygeon.
